BIM Coordinator

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator with direct experience working on infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, rail, and bridges) to join our team in Dubai.

As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for large-scale infrastructure projects throughout the region.

• Coordinate BIM activities across multidisciplinary teams ensuring seamless integration of various design elements.
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows for infrastructure projects.
• Perform clash detection, resolve conflicts, and optimize designs using advanced BIM software.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support to team members.
• Create high-quality 3D visualizations and simulations for client presentations and project reviews.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes for BIM deliverables.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in infrastructure design and construction.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with proven expertise in delivering infrastructure projects using BIM in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.
• Proficiency in BIM software including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, visualization techniques, and infrastructure design principles.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes and project lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• BIM certification such as Autodesk Certified Professional is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in GCC.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
