JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
American School in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled an experienced Biology Teacher, to join their team in January 2025 or sooner.
To be suitable for the role you must be degree qualified, with a Bacholors degree in Education specialising in Biology, or PGCE / Teachers Licence alongside a biology degree of similar subject.
Seeking a professional, adaptable and pashionate Teacher who can offer exciting classes, with a focus on teaching and learning, who is able to adapt to living and working in a new environment and be respectful to local customs and cultures.
The schools has a team of teachers from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA and South Africa, teaching students from the UAE with some expatriate students. The school offers a safe environment with excellent facilities and is growing on a yearly basis, with plans to open a new campus in the near future.
The suitable Teacher will be offered:
- Tax Free salary based on experience from 9,000 AED – 12,000 AED per month
- Accommodation allowance, paid in 6 monthly instalments
- Transportation to and from school
- Medical and dental insurance
- Yearly ticket in conjunction with summer leave.

Requirements:
- Degree in education or a PGCE / Teacher Licence with a degree in a related subject- 2 years post qualifying experience
- Professional, adaptable and enthusiastic about teaching and learning.
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
