JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Based in the Dubai office of this globally acclaimed law firm, the Operations Manager will have operational oversight of the Middle East offices as well interacting with other global offices. The role will report into the Director of Administration, a very experienced individual who will be a strong mentor figure for this position.
The role encompasses all elements of the back-office support function, HR and Finance administration, vendor management, internal and external communications across the firm internationally and IT and facilities assistance. The Middle East operation has two offices and thirty staff, however this will be increased throughout the course of 2023 and 2024. There will line management and work allocation of support staff teams, including managing coaching and training, conduct mid /end year reviews and approval of overtime and holidays. Additionally, there will be support with cross-departmental projects and initiatives, working in conjunction with the lawyers.
• The role is privy to highly confidential information and there is considerable internal communication across various verticals of the business. Written English must be of a very high standard and candidates must have at least five years’ experience in a business operations role, ideally within professional services.
• The successful candidate will be a critical thinker, with the ability to analyse and identify complex issues and recommend and implement solutions accordingly.
• A university degree is preferred but not mandatory.
