Role purpose
To source personal finance applications from the local market. Sourcing of business should be within ADIB permitted policy and procedure.
Key accountabilities of the role
Main responsibilities
- Source new to bank personal finance, covered cards, auto, and takaful products to the specified target segment and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
- Prepare and maintain DSR (Daily Sales Report) for all visited customers and company visits.
- Create and maintain good relationships with all business entities and individuals where the business is sourced.
- Visit potential companies and institutions to finalize business deals within the targeted turnaround time based on ADIB policy and procedure and provide feedback to RSS.
- Maintain full awareness of product knowledge and implement it at all times.
- Deliver timely and prompt service to customers.
- Adhere to stipulated office timings, strictly follow secrecy norms, maintain data confidentiality, and be presentable.
- Submit DSR to the respective branch manager by the end of the day with complete details.
- Non-compliance with the above will be escalated.
Regular / occasional responsibilities
- Prepare and review standard credit applications ensuring all information is accurate and verify authenticity of critical documents (e.g., cheque, bank statement copies, passport, Emirates ID, salary certificate) prior to sending to PU for processing.
- Ensure all applications submitted are error-free and rectify any errors.
- Follow the approval process and escalate any delays to BM/OSM.
- Execute Murabaha contracts with customers representing ADIB and prepare files as per the checklist.
- Forward card allocation for card issuance through coordinators within 24 hours of completing signing formalities with customers.
- Check finance disbursement and notify BM/OSM in case of delay.
- Maintain good rapport with inter-department peers to ensure smooth flow of business.
- Participate in activities assigned by BM/OSM or line manager during promotions.
- Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-effort basis when required.
- Escalate customer complaints to supervisor level immediately, if any.
Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role
- Broad knowledge of ADIB's personal finance and other RBG products and services.
- Fair knowledge of service standards, sales skills, and computer skills.
- Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
- Thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by the Central Bank of UAE.
- General awareness of competitors in the local market.
