JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and evaluation of bridge structures. As a key player in our engineering department, you will contribute to innovative projects that enhance the infrastructure of the UAE, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with local and international standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed design and analysis of new bridge structures including preliminary and final designs.
- Evaluate existing bridge conditions and prepare reports on their structural integrity and safety.
- Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other engineers to develop cohesive design solutions.
- Oversee construction and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
- Utilize advanced engineering software and tools for simulations and structural analysis.
- Prepare contract documents, specifications, and estimates for bid proposals.
- Support project management by coordinating with stakeholders and providing engineering insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the UAE or ability to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge design and structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of design standards (AASHTO, Eurocode, etc.) and local regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
