The reason the role exists within the organisation
* Responsible for performing analysis, designing processes and review from people, process or technology perspective for Performance Management activities and processes
* Expected to support tracking and driving change agenda with a view to make processes more effective for the Finance function

Key Roles & Responsibilities
* To support Head - GPM, Performance Management for all administrative and planning activities
* To demonstrate strong knowledge of BAU activities and processes for all related areas being managed
* To prepare detailed business requirements and to get necessary buy in / approvals prior to driving the change initiative forward
* To work closely with BAU teams in coming up with new process design and driving necessary changes
* To track benefits realisation, based on plans for respective initiatives

Work relationships
* To contribute towards planned change initiatives in line with planned timelines and cost budget
* To lead a team of analysts (where necessary) and allocate and manage tasks and drive performance
* Work with project sponsor to understand and document project objectives and scope.
* Work with business owners from affected business areas to understand current processes and to document and prioritise requirements
* Work with delivery workstreams to communicate business objectives and requirements, make decisions on delivery options and produce delivery costs and timescales
* Work with the BAU business owners to define acceptance criteria

* The working environment demands an ability to work in a fast paced, changing, international, environment, while providing a quality client service
* Some international travel may be required
* Periods of working long hours is expected
* Much of the work will be to deadlines / work day limits
* Weekly reports will be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies

REQUIREMENTS

* Strong track record of delivering solutions on large change initiatives, ideally whilst working for a "Big 5" consultancy or a financial service industry
* Good knowledge of Finance Processes and accounting related principles
* Delivery of high quality work, in a limited amount of time
* Excellent Communication skills
* Strong MS Powerpoint, Word and Excel skills would be critical
* Excellent attention to detail
* High levels of drive and self-motivation
* Track record of working in a very organized way, multi-tasking, prioritising, managing data, and setting and achieving deadlines (both short and long term)
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Capacity to think creatively and laterally; excellent reasoning skills and the ability to make sound judgments
* Pragmatic approach to achieving the objectives set, able to flex an approach as needed
* Strong team player
* A willingness to work with ambiguity within a fluid business environment
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Projects performance

Desirable
* Knowledge of PeopleSoft GL and transaction processing systems
* Knowledge of Finance systems and broad flow of information
* Knowledge of Banking
* Good MS Project Management skills
* Process Re-engineering skills and proven track record to improve process improvements

Generic measures of the role (includes both qualitative and quantitative metrics)
* Signed off BRD, FSD and other design documents
* Scope delivered on time, to budget and to stakeholders expectations
