JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with an international Luxury Retail service agency which specialise in retail design, production and installation of displays, pop-up stores, boutique windows and exhibition solutions for their high-end clients in the fashion industry. They are seeking a qualified Business Developer to join their team in Dubai, focusing on managing the sales pipeline and identifying new business opportunities.
The Business Developer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating industry trends and customer drivers, conducting regular meetings with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategic direction. Additionally, the role includes managing the proposal response process, which encompasses detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include generating new leads, identifying and contacting decision-makers, screening potential business opportunities, selecting deals aligned with strategic goals, and facilitating pitch logistics. The Business Developer will also build and implement a comprehensive outbound sales and business development strategy, including sales processes, structures, and best practices across the organization.
Another critical aspect of the role involves supporting deal structure and pricing through business-value analysis and negotiating prices for proactive bids and proposals. Maintaining and sharing professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations is also essential.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills and a solid foundation in sales techniques.
