JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Client is a well known reputable design orientated Architectural & Engineering Consultancy based in Dubai is seeking a Business Development Director.
Due to the company’s continuing success in the region they are looking to bring a Business Development Director to help growth across all business lines.
- This is a new role created by management to head up the Business Development reporting into the CEO.
- Significant experience within the Architecture industry in the GCC
- Seller Doer” requirements, winning major projects across construction sectors and help mobilisation post award.
- Lead all RPFs until project has been won.
- Financial responsibility for the region across the Middle East for marketing, sales and client services development.
- Experience in managing and growing teams
- Responsible for developing new business with major clients
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates should be educated to a minimum of degree level. Architecture background a plus.
- 15 years industry experience in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction industry with a track record of sales in the Built Environment market across the Middle East.
- Lead pre-contract negotiations as required
- A strong and proven track record in business development, sales and marketing throughout the Middle East
- Must have experience in leading and motivating business development, sales teams and project managers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong understanding of contractual and commercial principles and processes.
