JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The role of the Business Development Executive is to research, partnership and advise newly formed companies or those wishing to further expand across the UAE and GCC region. This is a unique role where you will assist in developing your client’s business to achieve greater success and therefore ultimately benefit the Middle East region.

You will seek out the most innovative, forward thinking and technologically advanced new businesses and products to the UAE & GCC market and work across a hugely diverse set of industries including hospitality, automotive and fintech. This role requires energy, tenacity and strong research skills in order to target your approach and achieve individual and team success. Initially you will provide a well-thought-out plan of the industries you wish to penetrate on a global scale and achieve a constant and successful pipeline of potential business.

Typically, the research, sales and development process takes approximately 2 months to ensure the client is fully on board, so it is essential that you are able to work effectively and at a fast pace, managing all follow up and potential leads to the best of your ability. Once the client is established the Business Development Executive will then be the first point of contact for all queries and assistance moving forwards.

Therefore, being able to provide open and honest feedback to your clients is essential as the goal is to ensure that they are ready for the market and have a successful strategy in place, which you will assist them with alongside the Senior Business Development team. Networking is also an important part of the role and you will attend relevant events, exhibitions and shows to widen your network and develop new business potential further.

REQUIREMENTS

Our client can offer fantastic mentorship, training and guidance and they expect that those whom are most successful in this role will progress quickly, with full support along the way. The company offers a very generous multi layered commission scheme with the potential to earn 2-3 times the basic salary, once the individual is well established in the role. To apply for this vacancy, it is essential that you have experience as an Account or Business Development Executive across the UAE and/ or Middle East region for a minimum of 2 years.

You will be an individual seeking out a diverse and challenging role where earning potential is uncapped and dependent upon the leads and effort you create. It is also expected that you will be well educated, able to build business relationships with ease and have strong communication skills and an exceptionally high standard of the English language.
