JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Maximize the value of all business development and commercial opportunities.
• Be responsible for sales targets and developing key market entries
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities that will allow to broaden its remit within the defined areas of responsibility
• Manage market knowledge diligently, maintaining competitor and industry knowledge and utilizing business development tools available.
• Work closely with Team Head and Team Leader to strategize effective response strategy to tenders.
• Develop client-based strategy and guide proposal team formulate winning strategy and provide inputs to tender workings
• Develop pricing and tender basis working
• Understand Terms & Conditions of the Tenders
• Understand business risks and mitigating opportunities.
• Producing and presenting Risk Review documents
• Provide proactive relationship management for existing business and future projects.
• Identify and build strategic joint venture partnerships to further develop strategic opportunities
• Demonstrate exemplary business principles in accordance with policies, setting standards of behavior and performance.
• Build relationships of trust with all stakeholders – internal and external

• Build detailed knowledge of company products and service capability in the region in order that this can be clearly and effectively communicated to current and potential clients across the East.
• Ensure that the leadership team has sufficient business development and commercial information so that informed decisions may be taken on current and future projects.
• Flexible to travel regionally in the MEA region (35 - 45% travel time expected).

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with Oil & Gas Multinational Companies
• Direct experience of managing major scale projects
• Strong knowledge of the Middle east and Africa economic ecosystem across multiple sectors
• Demonstrable track record of leading successful deals and/or ventures in Middle East and Africa.
• Experience in operational due diligence, post-merger integration and strategic planning/implementation.
• Highly numerate and analytic
• Proven ability to present persuasively at a senior level
• Research and identify potential new clients to remain focused on business development opportunities.
• Build, develop and broaden relationships with existing and new clients.
• Identify and qualify for new opportunities which are aligned to the business strategy, and which results in high level of successful conversion, while delivering key individual objectives
• Grow Revenue within the region by developing and executing strategies processes and best practices to obtain Business opportunities within African market and from Middle East Countries.
• Strong relations across Government bodies, and corporate sector
• Able to develop excellent client relationships
• Strong persuasive and influencing skills.
