Employment: Full Time

A payments solutions provider with success in the UAE and wider central hemisphere is seeking to further develop their client portfolio across the GCC region. Well established in providing e-wallet and mobile money payment solutions for several clients from a hugely diverse range of industries they are now preparing for a new period of growth with a Business Development Manager to be based in Dubai.

The primary function of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by regularly networking, meeting and discussing the needs of high profile organisations across the GCC, to generate interest in online payment functions. Therefore, the main duties will involve planning and delivering persuasive pitches that will successfully demonstrate the company’s value to potential clients including communicating previous successes, product developments and continuous relationship and stakeholder management. As part of the role you will also maintain existing relationships and develop them further to maximise sales potential. The ideal candidate will have a strategic approach to business development in order to have a continuous pipeline of business. You will be professional and tenacious with your follow up and have a business development background from within from the fintech, IT or financial industry. As a BDM you will also contribute to the development of marketing literature and content, providing feedback to the senior management team and remain commercially aware in terms of both competitor activity and new products and developments into the market. There will also be the responsibility of managing a Business Development Executive and ensure they are also achieving their individual KPIs regularly.

REQUIREMENTS

Therefore, we are seeking a tenacious and highly motivated, autonomous individual for this role, with someone who has acute attention to detail ensuring that all sales opportunities are captured and explored. The successful candidate will be expected to self-manage and report directly into the CEO based overseas. A minimum of two years’ sales experience within the UAE & GCC region is required within finance, fintech or the IT industries. Alongside a basic salary there is also a commission scheme based on both transactions and revenue delivered. The strongest of candidates with an exceptional standard of the English language should apply and those with fluent Arabic language skills are considered particularly advantageous.
