JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is dedicated to reshaping the creator economy landscape through cutting-edge products and services. We seek a strategic and results-driven SNAP Shows Business Development Manager focused on engaging and signing content creators. This role aims to elevate their potential revenue streams within the SNAP platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and approach talented content creators, including shows, podcasts, and video producers, to join the SNAP Shows platform.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the content creation industry to curate a diverse and engaging SNAP Shows catalog.
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure agreements with content creators, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Implement revenue optimization strategies to increase the earning potential for signed content creators within the SNAP Shows platform.
• Drive sales and revenue growth by actively engaging with content creators and exploring new avenues for revenue generation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute effective partnership strategies.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging content creators, and audio and video content developments.
• Analyze market dynamics and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with content creators, ensuring a positive and collaborative partnership experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of content-related initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.• 2-4 years of proven experience in business development within the content creation industry, focusing on signing, podcasts, and video producers.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills, with a track record of successful content creator signings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
