JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding logistics company in Dubai. The successful candidate will be pivotal in driving growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in the competitive logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor logistics solutions that meet client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand company presence in the market.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market feedback to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role within the logistics industry.- Strong understanding of logistics services and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
