JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the client base within the Freight Forwarding sector, with a strong focus on Oil & Gas clients in the UAE. This role acts as the primary commercial interface between the company and its customers, ensuring strong client relationships, profitable growth, and service excellence.
Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, leading RFQ and pricing activities, and coordinating with internal operations, pricing, and network teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions. The role also involves preparing sales forecasts, tracking performance metrics, supporting marketing initiatives, and representing the company at industry events. The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, client-focused, and experienced in handling complex logistics solutions for Oil & Gas customers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have mandatory experience in Freight Forwarding with proven exposure to Oil & Gas clients in a business development and key account management capacity. Candidates should have a strong understanding of logistics solutions, RFQ processes, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations within the Oil & Gas sector.Applicants must be fluent in both English and Arabic. Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills are essential. The candidate should be target-driven, capable of managing a sales pipeline through CRM systems, and comfortable leading client meetings, MBRs, and QBRs. Prior experience in the UAE or GCC market is highly preferred.
Salary:
AED
18,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
