Our client is massively expanding its presence in the Middle East and Africa. They are now seeking for a Regional Business Development Manager to focus on GCC States (excluding UAE and KSA), Levant & Pakistan.
• Reporting to General Manager MEA and being part of the Middle East Africa management team, the Manager will service the company’s distributor network in the GCC States (excluding UAE and KSA), the Levant and Pakistan.
• Working with an existing group of distributors the BDM will be required to make regular country visits to lead and assist in the promotion of the company’s products. The manager will agree annual targets, marketing activities, undertake training of the distributor’s staff, make field visits, and maintain contacts with key corporate accounts, with the objective of achieving agreed budgets within the profitability guidelines as set by the General Manager.
• The BDM is responsible for an annual budget of AED 20m, which also includes indent orders from Africa.
• The BDM will service leads and enquiries from West and Central Africa received on a demand basis, these enquiries normally originate from Key Accounts with operations in Africa.
REQUIREMENTS
• The proposed BDM should be aged between 30-40, possess an ability to communicate at all levels, a self starter, who can work with the minimum of supervision, and be capable of motivating distributors sales teams.
• Knowledge of the Middle East and its culture is essential, knowledge of the Storage and Materials Handling Industry would be a distinct advantage.
• Must be a native English speaker
