JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working exclusively with a technology services organisation which provide visa processing solutions to the Government sector. Our client is looking to hire a Business Development Manager who will take accountability for proactively building corporate partnerships, pursuing tenders and winning new business.

This role will be heavily geared towards building a strong network of contacts and connections such as embassy and ministry officials in order to develop trusting relationships and promote the companies innovative technology solutions. As the Business Development Manager you will work independently to devise effective sales strategies which generate increased revenue and new business opportunities. There will be regular travel involved across the Middle East and European markets therefore flexibility is required to travel often at short notice.

In this role you will collaborate with cross functional global teams, taking the lead on managing tender submissions and coaching colleagues to ensure best practices are being followed and all required documentation is submitted within the required deadlines. Our client is looking for someone who demonstrates excellent stakeholder management skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a relevant field, with at least 4 years professional B2B/B2G experience working in a similar role, ideally within the Government services industry. Our client is looking to hire an individual who can demonstrate a successful track record in developing new business across multiple markets, with previous stakeholder management experience.
