Business Development Regional Manager - Energy Services

Our client is a leading multinational global service company engaged in oil and gas drilling, energy, geophysical services and transportation.

They are currently looking for Regional Business Development Manager with extensive experience in the MENA region. (experience in Central Asia and North Africa will be an added advantage).

Responsibilities:
- Primary effort is to define, generate, qualify and prospect new business targets in a defined territory locations, closing new sales and creating future prospects for service and recurring sales
- Maintains and refines database or list of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Demonstrates leadership with customers by conducting sales presentations, directing sales calls, managing contract negotiations, and overseeing the execution of sales contracts
- Utilizes market research to develop sales opportunities which will ensure market performance and penetration in support of business initiatives
- Partner with customers to develop long term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution discussions
- Develops monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts
- Collaborate with service and management to assure customer sales satisfaction, identify new client referrals and/or business prospects
- Proposes pricing and credit terms and prepares sales contract for orders obtained
- Tracks and communicates leads, provides customer data for tracking purpose
- Prepare reports of business transactions, track results and keeps expense accounts
- Provide ideas, recommendations and support regarding new business development
- Stays up to date on sales skills, professional knowledge and self-training to maximize professional growth and advancement

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in MENA region in a similar capacity
Bachelor degree or equivalent in relevant field, knowledge of Business Management and Field Operations
- Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic is desirable but not mandatory. French is advantageous for possible role expansion in North Africa
- Proven sales track record, ability to close deal, "listening" capacity
- Interpersonal and supervisory abilities
- Cold calling and negotiation skills
- Strong computer skills and experience with CRM software
- Strong customer-centric, relationship and retention ability
