Business Development Specialist - Direct Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As Business Development Specailist, reporting directly to the Head of Direct Sales, you will be implanted at National General Insurance Partner and handle Direct source of business .

Your focus will be new business acquisition, Corporate Segment, and your responsibilities include the following:

Business Development:
- Set segmentation rules (sectors, company size, geographical zone, export markets) to ensure a relevant focus of the commercial effort.
- Build sources of referrals (auditors, bank RMs, CFOs, industry leaders, network events).
- Generate Leads (web, cold calls, information team, banks).

New Business:
- Contact & visit prospects ( 20 prospect visits permonth).
- Present and negotiate quotes with prospects.
- Coordinate the sales effort with the Commercial team until policy implementation (presentation of policy wording, Online tool, KYC process etc.)

Reporting:
- Weekly pipeline meeting and Top Targets review with the Head of Direct Sales and Commercial Director.
- Input of all sales activity into SMART sales tool.
- Monthly KPIs report.
- Regular Follow Up on specific Action Plan (Competition portfolio Remarketing, joint targets with banks etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

- University degree in Business/Finance.
- 3-5 years experience minimum in a Sales Position in UAE, with focus on Large Corporates
- Strong knowledge of UAE economic environment and trade finance products.
- Natural communication skills with a real ability to network.
- English and Hindi are mandatory, other languages are a plus.
