JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for someone who will assist the Internal Audit Division Manager in continually improving a world class audit function suitable for a major national oil and gas company. The candidate is expected to achieve corporate and divisional objectives.
The position also includes undertaking important tasks such as:
- Focusing on integrated risk based business processes and financial audits along with developing and enhancing audit processes.
-You will have to supervise the audit teams in conducting personal risk assessments, control walkthroughs and follow-up audits when required.
-You will also have to assist in the development of the annual and five year audit plan and process audits based upon the company's Risk Assessment Profile.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Management along with professional qualifications in CA, CPA or ACCA (MBAs and CIAs are also accepted).
- You should have 12 years relevant experience of which 5 years should have been in oil and gas.
- A high level of proficiency in English is essential and Arabic desirable.
- Problem identification and solving, promoting team development as well as an ability to communicate the value of Internal Auditing, Accounting frameworks, tools and techniques is mandatory.
