JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
DarkMatter is developing a suite of communication applications covering encrypted voice, instant messaging, email and other in-transit data. The primary purpose of the IT Department is to provide an excellent experience for our customers by the Agile delivery of the technology that they need in their everyday business lives. We aspire to be continually recognized as being the best IT operation in the Technology sector in the UAE, through delivering the Strategic Objectives of the organization.
As a Business System Analyst , you will:
- Assist with producing business cases for potential projects
- Gather, Analyze and document requirements for the business
- Design innovative solutions in agreed formats (e.g. User Stories, Story Points, Straw Man, Wire Frames, etc.)
- Use research and agreed reference points in the design and proposal phase of solutions (e.g. Gartner)
- Ability to analyze and document business processes and use refinement techniques to increase process efficiency
- Understand and use automation to increase business value through improved efficiency of processes and applying modern digital techniques
- Produce and review design documentation
- Translate and simplify requirements for all stakeholders; liaise with and manage 3rd party relationships during project delivery
- Have a basic high-level understanding systems capabilities and their database schema
- Update the knowledge base/ ensure document management

REQUIREMENTS
To bring your dream to life, you'll need:
- 6+ years of experience in Business System Analysis
- Strong knowledge in gathering & documenting business requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- PMP or ITIL Certification preferred
- Business Analyst Certification (ECBA/CCBA/CBAP/CBATL) preferred
