Title - Business Transformation Manager

Location - Dubai, UAE.
Job Purpose:
A leading Islamic Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Banking Business Transformation Manager to lead strategic initiatives aimed at transforming and optimizing our bank's operations and processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving organizational change, enhancing efficiency, and fostering innovation within our banking environment.
The Business Transformation Team is a key banking team that is:
Working on strategic initiatives as part of our bank’s vision to lead Islamic banking market.
Acting as an in-house consulting service to all business lines.
Remediating business problems (as and when they arise).
Coordinating with all business lines, catering to business needs.
Theideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, with expertise in Lean and Agile methodologies to lead our transformation efforts.
Key responsibilities:
• Transformation: Lead End-to-End transformation projects aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing customer experience. Utilize Lean principles to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and optimize resource utilization within banking operations.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to identify pain points, opportunities, and strategic objectives. Effectively communicate the purpose, progress, and benefits of the transformation efforts.
• Agile: Implement Agile methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement, iteration, and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies to drive successful execution of transformation initiatives, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify insights, trends, and performance metrics that inform decision-making and measure the success of transformation initiatives.
• Technology and Digital Transformation: Understanding of technology trends and digital transformation strategies to leverage technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, innovation, and customer experience.
• Business Strategy: Understanding of business objectives, market dynamics, and strategic planning to align transformation initiatives with organizational goals.
• Leadership and Team Management: Capability to lead and motivate teams, inspire change, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA and relevant certification (Lean Six Sigma, PMP) preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully leading business transformation initiatives within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of the banking industry, its operations, products, and regulatory environment.
• Extensive consulting experience, preferably with a focus on process optimization, organizational change, and digital transformation.
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) and Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum) is critical.
• Strong in creating compelling PowerPoint presentation to communicate complex ideas, transformation strategies, and project updates.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
