JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our retail team in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for our retail stores to meet customer demand and maintain profitability. The Buyer will have a keen eye for market trends and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, products, and suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Analyze sales data to determine customer preferences and make purchasing decisions accordingly
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan product ranges
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or relevant role in the retail industry- Solid knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices
- Familiarity with forecasting and inventory management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Salary:
AED
15,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
