JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Support Front Office and Back Office of Calypso v.16 and ensure that any issues which arise are analysed, addressed, and fully documented.

A prominent financial services entity in the region seeking experts in Calypso.
Description
* End-to-end management of Calypso, performing configuration, customisation, development, enhancements, health checks, and monthly releases.
* Provide end-user support based on tickets, tracing issues, and finding an appropriate settlement.
* Analyse business requirements and other processes for various applications and interfaces applying an end-to-end approach.
* Ensure that risks are mitigated by review front to back impact analysis and create customized solutions which are clear and transparent.
* Provide expertise for SWIFT and other related products, acting as the strategic diver for Calypso.
* Create and implement system documentation and procedures which includes application support, system and technical configuration, as well as user training for new systems.
* Coordinate with relevant teams to support testing cycles for QA and UAT.

REQUIREMENTS
* 7 -15 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in the financial services sector.
* Must have strong functional knowledge of Treasury and Asset Management, with a demonstrable understanding of SDLC.
* Deep knowledge of business application development and testing of front-to-back trade capture systems.
* Development experience in PowerBuilder, Visual Studio, Java, or Oracle ERP.
* Proficient in Oracle/SQL server functions and Linux operating system.
