JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Camp Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of staff accommodation for approximately 600 workers. The role involves ensuring optimal living conditions, coordinating logistics, managing third-party suppliers, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accommodation Management: Ensure staff housing meets company standards in terms of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
- Procurement Coordination: Handle procurement, rentals, and maintenance services by liaising with third-party providers.
- Daily Operations Oversight: Supervise all camp activities, including food distribution, facility upkeep, and worker dispatching.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and train camp staff to provide efficient support services.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of camp activities, occupancy, and logistics for reporting purposes.
- Budget Management: Monitor and allocate resources effectively while adhering to budget constraints.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Liaison: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce camp policies and procedures, promoting discipline and operational efficiency.
- Inspection & Reporting: Regularly inspect facilities, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred).
- Valid UAE Driving License is a must

Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years in camp management, with at least 4 years in the UAE.
- Proven experience managing accommodations for a workforce of 600+ in a construction company setting.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and proficiency in common labor languages.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and email management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage blue-collar workers effectively.

Other Requirements:
- Ability to join immediately or within a minimal notice period.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations related to camp management.

Salary:
AED 4,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
