JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking a professional, reliable and experienced Chauffeur / Messenger for Embassy of Japan in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of roads across UAE, traffic laws, and safety regulations. This role requires professional driving manners, punctuality, and polite manner.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Chauffeur
• Safely transport diplomats to designated locations on time.
• Plan routes efficiently to avoid traffic delays.
• Follow all the UAE traffic laws and Embassy’s driving policies.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and sufficiently fuelled at all times.
• Remain calm under pressure and manage unexpected situations.
• Manage time and punctually.
As a Messenger
• Assist Administration tasks as needed, contributing to the overall operations of Administration Section.
• Coordinate with Administration Section to ensure all the necessary documents are delivered accurately and on time.
• Handle sensitive documents responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chauffeur / Messenger• Previous relevant working experience in Japanese Company, Embassy, government or C-level executives or equivalent is preferable
• Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record without major violations.
• Flexibility with working hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends if needed.
• Basic knowledge of office operations and general administrative tasks.
• Good communication skills and capability to work collaboratively with senior colleagues.
