JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Chief Accountant Arabic speaker to perform and coordinate accounting duties within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including preparation of financial statements, general ledger analysis, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and other departments, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, local regulations, and internal policies, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
- CPA or ACCA is preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting operation with fair knowledge in Record to Report process.
- Satisfactory knowledge of IFRS.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Work experience mainly relating to Accounts Receivable and Inventory ledger.
- Satisfactory proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) .
