JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Manage payroll processes in the system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of salaries and leave entitlements.
• Monitor daily performance within the accounting department, ensuring all financial deadlines are met and operations run smoothly.
• Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide insights into net revenue losses, operating costs, and other key expenses.
• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities, ensuring seamless operations.
• Collaborate with the admin and Area Manager to ensure timely and cost-effective management of AMCs, licenses, and maintenance of assets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of innovative financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with tax filing and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all financial records under your purview are maintained in compliance with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Develop and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual expenditures, driving accountability and strategic decision-making.
• Assist in crafting and implementing strategic financial plans alongside executive leadership, aligning with our growth and profitability objectives.
• Evaluate and enhance internal control systems to protect the integrity of our financial processes.
• Liaise with other departments to develop best practices for financial management, enhancing overall profitability.
Requirements:
• Proven experience of minimum of 5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Dynamics and Excel.
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and principles. Ethical behaviour when dealing with sensitive financial information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving operational excellence.
Salary:
AED
8,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
