JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our Client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a CEO to join their team in Dubai.

The main purpose of the role is to be the strategy driver for the brand, to lead the revenue generation, business development and to build strong, external partnerships and to foster an amazing team of people, through succession planning and strong mentoring. The ideal candidate will come with an established rule book and global network and will understand what it takes to lead, champion accountability and drive momentum.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Deliver vision and long-term strategy for the business;
• Drive growth through clear goals;
• Enhance revenue and operating performance;
• Develop budgets, and manage expenditures;
• Lead the annual budget development process, in partnership with the business leaders to ensure fiscal decisions support the company;
• Put in place an effective system of controls, covering non-financial as well as financial controls;
• Ensure that the Company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
• Be the global ambassador;
• Connect to new opportunities through innovative partnerships;
• Build and maintain a strong network;
• Build and lead an effective and cohesive executive management team, with effective succession planning;
• Provide ongoing feedback to the management team to drive a high-performance culture;
• Lead key culture initiatives, including employee engagement programmes, well-being and feedback;
• Report to the Senior Management on the operation of the businesses’ performance and the achievement of the agreed strategy and budget;
• Provide an appropriate and satisfactory system for financial management reporting on a monthly basis;
• Ensure effective communication and to respond appropriately to media and public relations issues.

In order to apply for this role, you must be Degree qualified, with over ten years of executive leadership and a track record of success scaling businesses, with a proven success at managing all functions, including sales and marketing, finance, human resources, customer service, quality, operations, and technology. You must have demonstrated success developing a compelling strategic vision for improving outcomes, particularly for those that need it most, and leveraging technology to achieve that vision. It is essential that you have the ability to translate the ambitious vision into an effective, testable, and evolving strategy, have overseen full P/L, balance-sheet and cash-flow management, can display significant experience growing revenue of a company through change management programmes, new products and driving efficiencies. You will have proven experience building and managing teams, with a track record of leading a performance-based culture, that motivates employees to drive sustainable results and promotes accountability, engagement and focus.
