JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

A global investment company is looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer who will report directly to the group CEO and will be responsible for the firm's back office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.
* Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes.
* Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
* Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.).
* Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
* Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).
* Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
* Oversees daily operations and makes adjustments as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or Head of Operations within an investment/financial services firm.
* Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, IT, marketing etc.
* Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
* Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
* Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
* Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
* BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
