JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a leading FMCG/Food business is looking to hire our a Chief Operating Officer/Head of Supply Chain to join their team. Reporting directly to the CEO this role is a key member of the groups senior leadership team.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Overall management of the entire operations and supply chain function
- Management of warehousing, distribution and logistics
- Analysis of operations to evaluate the performance of the company - identify areas for potential cost reduction and productivity
- Assume responsibility for revenue generation and execution of business strategy plans
- Establish and monitor performance reporting systems
- Review operational performance, diagnose inefficiencies and implement corrective action plans
- Establish policies, procedures and systems
- Oversee the entire supply chain and operations function
- Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of professional supply chain and operations experience
- Candidates must be based in the UAE
- Candidates must have experience within FMCG or Food Industry
- Management of large scale operations and supply chains is essential for this role
- Professional qualifications preferred
- Minimum of a Bachelor level degree in relevant field
