JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Draughtsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, ensuring precise and clear documentation to support project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using CAD software in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements and make necessary modifications.
- Review and update drawings to reflect changes and corrections as directed during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions for easy reference and communication.
- Assist in site visits to gather data and verify conditions for design accuracy.
- Support the project team with documentation and technical assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman or similar role in civil engineering projects.- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and construction methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering plans accurately.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
- Relevant diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
- Knowledge of local standards and regulations in the UAE is mandatory for this role.
