Civil Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to identify and resolve design and construction issues
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively
- Prepare and present progress reports and updates to stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Participate in the selection and procurement of materials and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction, engineering, and design principles
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
