JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key responsibilities:
- Review and prepare civil engineering designs and drawings for Tarakhees approval.
- Liaise with Tarakhees' regulatory authorities for permit submissions and approvals.
- Ensure all design and construction activities comply with Tarakhees guidelines, Dubai Municipality regulations, and relevant UAE codes.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors on project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and report any deviations from Tarakhees-approved plans.
- Conduct site inspections during various stages of construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and regulations.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and responding to RFIs and authority comments.
- Prepare and submit documentation for building permit, NOC applications, and completion certificates.
- Maintain project documentation and records for audits and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years handling Tarakhees projects.
- Strong knowledge of Tarakhees permitting procedures and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- UAE driving license is a plus.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Free Zone Authority projects (e.g., JAFZA, DAFZA, TECOM).
- PMP or similar project management certification.
