Employment: Full Time

Our client a leading multidisciplinary engineering practice in Dubai are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a specialization in infrastructure and drainage to join their dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Civil Engineer specializing in infrastructure and drainage, you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of complex projects across Dubai. You will be responsible for leading the design and development of infrastructure and drainage systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of infrastructure and drainage systems for a variety of projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, and stormwater management facilities.
* Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
* Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
* Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., structural, geotechnical) to ensure seamless project integration.
* Review and approve contractor submissions and shop drawings.
* Monitor construction progress and provide technical support to the construction team.
* Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
* Actively participate in business development activities, including client meetings and proposal preparation.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure and drainage design.
* Strong technical skills in civil engineering design principles and software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
* Excellent understanding of local regulations and standards related to infrastructure and drainage.
* Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship management.
* Interest in bidding and financial aspects of projects.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in stormwater management and sustainable drainage systems.
* Knowledge of BIM and other relevant design software.
