JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Guildhall is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will hold ADM registration and have a minimum of 10 years of work experience recognized by ADM, including at least 4 years dedicated to road projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant construction projects and be a part of a leading construction company in the region.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage civil engineering projects, particularly road construction projects, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of construction and maintenance of road infrastructures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and objectives are achieved.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications in compliance with local and international standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
• Manage project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with ADM regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
