JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Description
Supervise and execute civil works (excavation, foundations, concreting, structural, and infrastructure) as per project drawings and specifications.
Monitor daily site activities ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines for smooth site operations.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and conduct regular site safety inspections.
Track progress, prepare daily and weekly site reports, and update project management.
Manage materials, tools, and manpower to ensure efficient site execution.
Raise and close site technical queries (STQs) and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Liaise with QA/QC and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
Ensure timely completion of assigned civil works and support commissioning activities if required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Knowledge of civil construction methods and standards (ACI, BS, ASTM)
Experience in oil and gas site execution and coordination (ADNOC experience preferred)
Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings
Understanding of HSE and PTW systems
Familiar with QA/QC procedures and inspections
Basic surveying and material testing knowledge
Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD
Good communication and team coordination skills
