JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Retail Clerk will work on a rotation basis within the Atlantis Brand Retail Outlets. The rotation is based on sales performance and will involve working indoors and outdoors across the resort.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivering service standards as per the companies and departments standards
- Meeting individual revenue targets (sales) on the shop floor on a daily basis.
- Ensure process is followed to minimize stock loss – damages/returns and exchanges follow up the policies and procedures set.
- Promote effective communication and adequate information flow within the assigned store with your colleagues and Team leaders.
- Ensuring the retail outlet is presented to the highest standard on a daily basis.
- Take instructions from Shop Floor Team Leaders.
REQUIREMENTS
Are you a natural sales person? Do you possess a flair for dealing with people, up selling products and creating a memorable shopping experience for guests? As a successful Retail Clerk professional, you will go above and beyond in your role applying these skills on a daily basis, providing a friendly and informative service on various products available to guests across the resort. You will hold experience in a similar role, with the strong ability to recognize guests needs and advise on products whilst also applying up selling techniques to achieve targets and exceed customer expectations. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and show high levels of professionalism, five star customer service and a high level integrity at all times.
You will work on a rotational basis across Atlantis branded retail outlets within the resort, applying your strong customer service and sales skills to exceed daily targets. You will greet customers with a warm welcoming smile and act as an Atlantis ambassador, with strong knowledge on various products available to the guests. Retail Clerks must also handle cash and credit card transactions, applying good attention to detail to minimize any discrepancies.
Retail Clerks will have the ability to maximize their career opportunities by engaging in cross training on a voluntary basis. You will demonstrate your dedication by volunteering your time to learn about different positions both within retail and also various departments across the resort. Dedicated managers and team leaders will ensure your growth and development through systematic career progression plans, whilst applying mentoring and coaching techniques in order to advance your career.
