JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner within 3 rings
• Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
• Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner
• Liaise with Doctors, health professionals and their staff
• Make appointments
• Bill patients and receive payments
• Fax, Scan and File documents
• Prepare documents as required
• Open, stamp appropriately and distribute incoming mail
• Place orders for stationery and clinical supplies as directed by the Medical Director
• Monitor stationery and clinical supply levels and place orders as required to maintain a working supply at all times
• Book and organize staff and/or Doctor’ meetings as directed
• Other duties as needed and directed.
REQUIREMENTS
University Qualifications: Bachelors
Nature and length of previous experience: 3 years experience in a similar role
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate effectively with a variety of people
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in use of PC
Language Fluency: English
