Cloud Engineer - Azure Specialist

Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cloud engineer with 5-7 years of experience in architecting, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, along with working knowledge of OpenShift, cloud security, infrastructure as code (IaC), and landing zones. Exposure to agile methodologies, DevOps, and container technologies is essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain landing zones and enforce enterprise governance and security policies.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions based on agile practices.
• Work on containerization and orchestration platforms, particularly with Docker and OpenShift.
• Support DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and MLOps practices.
• Provide hands-on support for implementing cloud security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Maintain and operate Azure resources ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Use Jira, Confluence, and other agile tools for documentation and workflow tracking.
• Collaborate on initiatives related to cloud-native development, monitoring, and automation.
• Continuously assess and recommend improvements for infrastructure reliability and cloud strategy.
