JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy.

In this position you would be responsible for the following:
• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform premium threading operations on OCTG products, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Load materials into the CNC machine and adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency and accuracy of machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations and inspect machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications and quality requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CNC programs to effectively set up and execute machining operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve machining issues, implement corrective actions, and improve process efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
• Document operational data, including machine settings, production output, and quality inspection results.

Requirements:

To be successful you would ideally possess:
• Mechanical diploma or degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in CNC machine operations, preferably with at least 1 year in premium threading for OCTG.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CNC machines used in premium threading processes is highly desirable.
• Background in a tool room department is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
