JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
As the Head of Collection in the real estate sales sector, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage the collection department, ensuring the effective recovery of outstanding payments and commissions from clients, buyers, and stakeholders within the real estate sales industry. This role demands strong leadership, negotiation skills, financial expertise, and a deep understanding of real estate sales processes.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of collection specialists and coordinators.
• Establish clear goals and performance targets for the collection team, regularly monitoring their progress.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies and policies specific to real estate sales.
• Analyze market trends, sales contracts, and commission agreements to tailor collection approaches.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and legal, to ensure a coordinated approach to collections.
• Oversee the collection of outstanding payments, commissions, and fees from clients, buyers, and partners.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent parties while preserving positive business relationships.
• Employ legal remedies when necessary, such as pursuing litigation or using contractual provisions.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Regularly analyze collection data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management, providing insights into collection efforts and recovery status.
• Recommend process enhancements and adjustments based on data-driven insights.
Compliance and Legal Requirements:
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant industry regulations and legal requirements related to debt collection.
• Collaborate with legal counsel or external agencies for complex or legal collection cases.
• Maintain open and professional communication with clients, buyers, and stakeholders.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and disputes promptly and effectively, working to resolve issues amicably.
Technology and Tools:
• Utilize collection management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Stay informed about technology advancements and industry-specific software solutions.
AED 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
