IQPC provides business executives around the world with tailored practical conferences, large scale events, topical seminars and in-house training programs, keeping them up-to-date with industry trends, technological developments and the regulatory landscape.
Due to business growth, we are currently looking for Collections Executive to join our fun and dynamic finance team .
This is an exciting role if youre looking to start your career in the accounting field or have a few months of collections exposure and enjoy a targeted collections environments where you can take full ownership of your results.
Ideally you would be IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
REQUIREMENTS
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Run daily receivables reports and identify outstanding payments
Contact delegates and sponsors by phone/email to arrange and chase payment
Develop and uphold excellent relationships with our customers
Maintain debtor schedules in excel including weekly reporting of outstanding balances to the Financial Controller and Group Finance
Process credit card payments
Post receipts to the registration system
Reconciliation of the debtors ledger
Ad hoc reporting and support
Behaviors and Skills Required
Highlight numerate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent telephone manner
Proven customer service or collections experience (6months+)
Accounting qualification or studying towards one an advantage (Diploma/Degree)
Ability to effectively handle customer complaints
Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Other data entry & systems skills are an advantage
Team player
Attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task
