JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Director of Service, Parts and Customer Care, this role is responsible for mapping all dealer activities regarding body and paint activities, including setting policy, developing an ME marketing plan and overseeing the body shop network.

This role is working for a regional OEM office. Candidates must have Automotive experience within the Middle East Body and Paint business.

Summary of role:
• Map all dealer activities
• Liaise with HQ to create required SOP and operation standard
• Create clear competition database including regional insurance profile and requirements
• Run frequent market studies and intelligence
• Launch the organisations Collision Program
• Standard process in line with the service process
• Introduce B&P Training program

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop collision policy, procedure, and systems.
• Set clear monthly, quarterly and annual Department budget objectives.
• Prepare prescribed weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner, including exceptions to policy which may have taken place, and other information requested in formal directives current at the time.
• Build a clear marketing plan for ME and cascade to all ME dealers
• Establishes rapport with dealers, insurance companies, paint suppliers and workshop tools suppliers representatives so that agreement can be reached on a regional level to better serve ME dealers
• Develops plans for the department and monitors progress toward achieving departmental goals in the areas of excellent service and profitability.
• Oversees the work of the Body Shop Network and always strives to increase ME market share and retention
• Promote ME Body and Paint through all required means and tool like digital, social and webs
• Create a mobility and recovery process working with Service Contract department
• Create a clear training and certification plans to ensure skills level standard across ME.
• Is responsible for staying current regarding financial services coverage, for estimating processes, and for training the BodyShop team members in these skills.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of the Middle East Body & Paint business and its challenges
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques (manufacturing, paint finishes)
• Knowledge of new models/technologies and product improvements
• Knowledge of warranty guidelines and ability to relate warranty guidelines to warrantyrepair orders
• Ability to communicate with financial and insurance companies through dealers network
• Leadership skills, including organizing and planning and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to hazardous waste, emissions, and paint related technologies
• Ability to understand competitive pricing structure for this department and competition
• Ability to analyze profit-and-loss status
• Uses his general knowledge of automotive systems and his experienced ability to accurately communicate with all ME network and possibility insurance companies.
