JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a prominent media company based in Dubai, they are currently looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team, to provide financial decision making support to the organisation.
The Commercial Finance Manager - Planning will act the focal point for for all FP&A activity and will be the centre of excellence for Cognos based planning and modelling. The ability to act as a Business Partner to all areas of the business is crucial, as such the successful candidate will have a creative and commercial mindset as well as being a technically skilled accountant. Key drivers will include advising the business on cost cutting measures, building detailed planing models, monthly reports and performance metrics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally a qualified accountant
- Demonstrable, in depth experience of modelling within a Cognos based environment. (Hyperion experience will also be considered)
- Currently based in Dubai
- Commercially astute and able to liaise with all areas of the business
- Proactive attitude and able to work with minimal supervision.
