JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
One of our clients is a multi million dollar organisation based in Abu Dhabi but with offices all over the UAE. This is a financial / business analyst & FP&A position which requires the incumbent to be mobile between all the sites.
Responsibilities
• Interaction with financial leadership, program/project managers, accounting and contract personnel, senior technical personnel, and other functional or support organizations.
• Implements and ensures compliance with financial policies and procedures in support of the various programs/projects
• Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding the results of related financial analysis and directly supports contractual reporting requirements and deliverables
• Comply with the budgeting process and manage delivery of the financial budgets.
• Proactively monitor financial performance of the department versus the budget and provide reports to Senior Management
• Work with the business to ensure maximum cash collections for current contracts and new opportunities that can be recharged
• Responsible to provide price and cost analysis and proposals related to variance contracts and new business initiatives
• Responsible for the analysis and review pricing information provided by subcontractors
• Support and participate in contract negotiations
• Must be able to work within rapidly changing business environment and make critical decisions that are based upon sound financial principles
• Understands contracts
• Ensure effective cashflow management
• Develop periodic financial projections to ensure budgets and business plans are thorough and financially feasible.
Salary:
AED
30,000 to 35,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified accountant
• Advanced Excel user
• Arabic speaker
• From an industry which involves contracts and projects, such as engineering construction
• Highly analytical
• Business focused
• Driving licence
• Willingness to travel between sites in the UAE
