Charterhouse are working with a professional services company in Dubai who is looking to hire an experience Lawyer with at least 5 to 7 plus years’ experience to work as Commercial & Legal Manager. Our client is looking for an individual with experience of UAE commercial contract review and drafting to work in a fast paced environment.

The role will involve an interesting broad reaching legal counsel position, working closely with the business and senior stakeholders in relation to the legal aspects of the company’s operations in the Middle East region. This is a mixed remit covering corporate and strategic matters, restructuring etc., as well as day to day commercial contracts, managing external counsel, human resources as required. The position will involve managing other more junior legal, contracts and compliance personnel.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should be a Lawyer with at least 5 years' experience relating to corporate, commercial, contracts and human resources legal work, with experience of the drafting, review, negotiation and management of high value agreements etc. Preference would be for a candidate with in-house Legal Counsel experience gained either in-house with another company or in a UAE based law firm. The role does not require Arabic language skills.
