JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A legal giant in Dubai is seeking a talented, dynamic legal secretary to join the successful Commercial department.
Based in the heart of the DIFC, this firm has gone from strength to strength in the Middle East, resulting in interesting work, a strong culture, and job stability for employees.
As a Commercial Legal Secretary your day to day tasks will include providing legal administration support to up to 7 fee earners, managing conflicting priorities, and engaging with your team and third parties. You will be responsible for drafting, amending and editing documents and correspondence, typing from Dictation, opening and closing files, organising meetings, liaising with clients, and assisting with monthly billing for the team.
REQUIREMENTS
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role within a professional services organisation;
- Minimum typing speed 60wpm with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, Track Changes, and FileSite;
- A relevant degree or Secretarial Diploma is ideal;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities;
- A positive, professional, team player.
