JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Commercial Manager will lead sales and marketing strategies for a company specializing in snake and scorpion venom extraction, selling peptides, toxins, enzymes, and proteins from venom. Requires deep understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech industries, strong communication skills, and proven track record in commercialization and business development.

Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:

* Identify and target potential clients, partners, and markets.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Lead negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

* Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
* Develop and refine market positioning and value proposition.
* Create and execute strategies to penetrate new markets.

Product Promotion and Marketing:

* Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns.
* Develop marketing materials to showcase product benefits.
* Attend industry events to enhance visibility.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

* Work with R&D to understand scientific aspects.
* Collaborate with production and logistics for timely delivery.

Sales Performance Management:

* Set sales targets and monitor performance.
* Analyze sales data to optimize strategies.
* Provide regular reports to senior management.

Client Relationship Management:

* Act as main point of contact for key clients.
* Ensure exceptional customer service.
* Build long-lasting relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Proven sales, business development, or commercial experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
* Strong knowledge of venom-derived products and their applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and market trends.
* Ability to collaborate across teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Willingness to travel for conferences and client visits.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

* Sales Revenue and Growth: Achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets.
* Market Penetration: Expanding the company's presence in new and existing markets.
* Customer Acquisition: Increasing the number of new clients and partners.
* Client Retention: Maintaining a high rate of customer satisfaction and retention.
* Contract Negotiation: Successfully closing deals and partnerships with favorable terms.
* Marketing ROI: Measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities.
* Market Intelligence: Providing insights on market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities
