JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
On behalf of our client, a service corporation providing clients with soft commodities trading, logistics and maritime services worldwide, we are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager preferably with native Arabic skills.
Reporting to General Manager, you will manage and ensure a streamlined and smoothly running workflow of shipping and trading; the execution of contracts and insurance contracts; purchasing and exporting the goods from the country of origin to the client in the MENA region; constructing the marketing plan and needs in the company overseas and the representative offices. In addition, you will be ensuring an accurate and regular reporting stream to GM regarding the market areas.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must possess minimum of 15 years of experience in working with soft commodities and related brokering field. You possess at least a Bachelor's degree and have quantitative background, strong critical thinking and deep understanding of statistical analysis, option pricing and term structure models. You have proven track record of successful purchasing management, planning and top-level negotiations with international suppliers. You also need a strong background and knowledge in export of soft commodities to MENA and sub-Saharan region. You have strong communication skills in English and preferably native Arabic skills.
