JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
VHR are currently recruiting for a Commercial Sales Manager for our Client based in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
* Drive new business for by implementing strategic plan for key accounts
* Accountable for revenue budgets
* Monitor sales activity and key accounts performance
* Business Development: Mapping the market and identifying new partners in the international market including International Tour Operators, Web Portals and Online Travel Agents
* Prospect, categorize and rank new clients business potential
* Client relationship development and Key Account management
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
* At least 3 to 5 years
* Strong Sales Drive
* Experience in selling quality and experiential products in leisure/ tourism industry in UAE ideally a start-up excursion or a boutique DMC, MICE DMC or 5* deluxe hotel.
* Demonstrable international leisure segment knowledge
* Should have sales experience in dealing with DMCs, ITOs, MICE and Online Travel Agents
* Should have dealt across all levels such as owner/ management like CEO, VP & GM; Middle level management like Product/ Contracting/ Operations/ Marketing Manager and Reservations and Sales executives
* Strong people management experience - should have managed a Sales team
Personality:
* Well-groomed and well-spoken
* Entrepreneurial and proactive, with a hands-on approach: shows initiative and self-reliance and will not be fazed by not having a global sales/structure to support them
* Strong negotiation skills in Travel, Hospitality and Tourism background
* Go-getter - smart, sharp, proactive, driven
* Presence and gravitas to carry the brand
* Strong in deal making and strategic planning
* Strong commercial drive - ability to make effective decisions for both long and short term strategies
* Skills - negotiation, high Commercial Acumen, able to create and sustain change, team management
* Able to plan and report on a daily basis
* Should be open to travel for work
